Coming from a fine arts jewelry and metalsmithing background from the Rhode Island School of Design, and design were fields that were always a large part of my life. Creative Academy was a different and eye-opening experience in itself. Focussing on design, but in particular, “Luxury” design helped me to understand creativity in a whole new approach. It was wonderful to work on design in not only jewelry, but in areas foreign to me such as watches, leather goods, and small accessories in general. Wherever and whatever I will be doing in the future, I know this time in Creative Academy will be a huge asset to my professional life.
